श्री गणेश मंत्र ऊँ वक्रतुण्ड़ महाकाय सूर्य कोटि समप्रभ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरू मे देव, सर्व कार्येषु सर्वदा।।
श्री गणेश II Lord Ganesh
Lord Ganesh is the elephant headed god in Hindu religion. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Ganesha is considered to be the remover of all obstacles, grantor of knowledge,wisdom and all round prosperity. Lord Ganesh is the first to be worshipped in every important auspicious life’s events and occasion like engagement, wedding, foreign travel, at the birth of a new born, buying a house, before your big exams, going for an interview, doing special puja at home, etc. It is believed that by first praying to Lord Ganesh will ensure smooth and successful completion of the event. For daily prayers, the special day of Lord ganesh is Tuesday and chaturthi (the fourth day of the hindu calender).
Although there are too many shlokas dedicated to Lord Ganesha, here, I am presenting a some prayers followed by my family of aavahanum,(invokation),108 names of ganesh,shlokas,chants, stuti, chalisa chalisa is in hindi ending with Shri Ganesh Aarti for all those interested in using these prayers for Ganesh Puja in daily or weekly home prayers. Also included are special shloka for ganesh chaturthi(no moon viewing) shloka and ganesh prasad.
